I Love You
End of story. What more powerful words are there. What more wonderful words are there? Why do we seek these words, long to hear these words, and search for this happy ending over and over through life.
At the recent loss of my parents I made sure these words were exchanged and when they were I cried and felt wonderful at the same time. I speak words each time my kids go to sleep or leave for school and also spread them to my wife.
Wouldn't it be great to be able to say these words to strangers on the street. Try it and see what happens. Maybe the next time you are held up at gunpoint by some troubled child simply say I love you. Or maybe the next time the police are in a stand off with the assailant cornered in a home, they speak softly into the bull horn over and over We love you, we love you , we love you. I bet he would come out for a hug, because that is what he wants.
Anyway...."I Love You" love is the glue between I and you. If the "I" is nothing but love (investigate for yourself, do I exist and you will find love) and the "you" is nothing but love also... then these words are pure pointers to a reality that actually exists all the time no matter what the situation. You are love, others are love, I am love, we are literally love.
So "I love you" feels so good to hear because it points directly to WHO WE ARE!!! Together as One and even in illusion of separate.
So I will end here by telling all my friends who stop by to read this, to be with me in sharing this place the one message that you are and seek
I LOVE YOU!!!

I LOVE THIS!!!
And of course I love you too Michael hahaha
Any person that is resistant to love, is also resistant to loving some aspect of themselves… obviously.
Notwithstanding the ‘at gunpoint’ scenario, the more comfortable that we get with speaking about love as a norm in human relations, the less ‘out there’ it will seem to just be our warm and caring selves.
The other method hasn’t been working from what I’ve seen. [I say that dispassionately but I totally mean it.]
This world needs love more than any other thing! Just go for it!!
Love you! Sherri
all methods are just methods for the sake of recieving or giving love. Every thing we do is to express love in one way or another… its just that some go about it in a very very roundabout way… so much of a roundabout that they have forgotten what the goal was again?
thanks for chiming in Sherri… I love you too! (ahh doesnt that feel good)
I love you!!!!
:)
I love you dearly Michael. We are in the same “club”..our parents are close, but not close enough to share a hug…so here is one for you…!
Thanks for the love.
Thank you MIchael :) Love you back and everybody else :) Hugs!
wow… this feel good …these simple words here.. I love you to Asteri, Nikki and Enlightened Thnker.
Is anyone daring enought to say this to a stranger today?
Or someone sort of close, like a friend?
Its just you talking toyour Self… ha ha
I love me. You too! :)
I was just talking to someone about these words “I love you” and how they were becoming meaningless and superficial if said too often. I believe to show love via actions because those three words can be so shallow and without meaning sometimes. Here in the States you hear people say “I love you” and “I love you, too” all the time. The person I was talking to actually said that with the people he said “I love you” to, he meant it the least and that with those (or with the one) he truly has strong feelings for, he thinks he shows it in other ways. I don't need people telling me they love me every day because if someone loves me for real, I feel it.
In Germany, we don”t say “I love you” (Ich liebe Dich) much, those words are reserved for “the one”. We have something else, “Ich hab' Dich lieb”, that we can say to anybody and that expresses how much we care about that person without being “in love”. I actually prefer it that way.
And if a stranger in the streets told me they loved me, I'd go a-runnin'!!!
I know a lot of folks that feel the way Jenny does about the topic. But I gotta say, once I was handed a business card from a stranger, a women who I had never seen before. It simply said, “I love you.” That is one of the few pieces of paper that holds a treasured place in my bag. I can not and will not throw it away and as much as I would love to hand it off to someone else, I can not. That small act of kindness meant the world to me. I look at it often and am grateful that she felt comfortable enough to pass that on.
Hey Jenny, I love you :)
Runrunrun!!!!!! *lol*
