A Son

A Son

I watched my boy fly in the sky
Through rainstorms and thunder he would fly
Every once in a while in the corner of his eye
A tear would fall as he would try

Try to fit in
Try to catch something
Try to find his own way
Try all the things I once was

His tears will one day end his flight
Blur his vision and create new sight
And he will see at once his place to land
Right here where he took off from  - where I stand

It touched my heart Michael.
I also find it hard to watch my children struggling with life, and they are grown and on their own!

This took me back to the Little League days with my three boys.  Those were the days!  Even though I got tired sometimes (attending practices & games for three different teams can be challenging) I just loved it!

Thanks Ayla and Joy

Yes i am smak dab in the middle of three kids playing sports, its my entertainment.  But I dont see too much stress with them in the sports, winning is not at the top of their goals, they are more interested in getting friends and playing time and having fun. Probably got that from me.
The poem here points to how kids and adults may try so hard at something to find that happiness…ahhh but then discover …its always been right here at the starting line.

Michael that poem was absolutely beautiful. Not only did that poem say to me that happiness is inside us always, but once you realize this you want your kids, family and the entire world to know this; it can be kinda difficult to see others struggle all around you, and what for? All that we can do is be like the proud parent and give our love and encouragement and know that one day they will learn, all while having a smile on our faces.

Thanks Michael, I really enjoyed that.

Peace, love and happiness to you and your family,
Brian.

yes Brian… the process of unfolding “Peace/Life/THAT/One/Joy” is not done by us, and yet it is, but the grand design unfolds this just as it does a flowers pedals in the spring…..bringing it back to …..

Your babies were so wise to choose you as their earthly father. What a wonderful connection you all have :o)

Many times I think I chose them to learn how to live as Life. Children do that, they teach you to stop and not only smell the roses but dig in the dirt around them.  The best part is when you realize ha ha ha there is nothing that really has to be done… it ALL unfolds perfectly!  Just adjust your point of viewing to see IT.

Indeed you are correct Michael. You did choose your kids so that they could teach you not to take life so seriously. And your kids chose you so that they could incarnate into a beautiful vessel, which would afford them the best opportunity to shine their beautiful lights unto the world; helping to cause the change to mankind is of the verge of. This is what my parents did for me, and this is what I will do for my kids.

Thank you for being the awesome father and man that this world and our family needs.

Many blessings to you and your family.
~Namaste~
Brian.
