Cascade lake
I don’t need any liquor or beer
cigarets or fancy toys while I’m here
not interested in religion or politics for goodness sake
all of those are pale , while here at Cascade Lake
on my back floating free
and endless sky, It must be me
jump and splash with all of my youth
who grew up you ask, once you see this truth
Cascade lake Smooth and cool
Swim into the stars in a natural pool
rinse off the day massage by the sun
where no one arrives or leaves but becomes everyone
Sandy beaches, high dives and slides
Endless laughter that hurts your sides
Float across the lake like flying in the sky
wait what looks all day to get here.... now I see why
